Toddy Walkby Visit Faaborg

Again this year, the traditional Toddy Walk Til Faaborg Winter Days will be held. As always, there will be new Toddys, but this time with a new route, new guides and new stories. But, of course, with the same good, warm winter atmosphere. As usual, it is Vinbanken, Den Gamle Gaard, and Trente Mølle Naturskol that have teamed up to create this unique experience especially for the *Faaborg Winter Days. * Join us on a hike that begins at Den Gamle Gaard in Faaborg and continues for 4-5 kilometres through the winter landscapes near Faaborg. Along the way, a nature guide will tell you about nature, and then, of course, we will taste various hot toddies. In the Vinbanken there is an opportunity to continue the fun, and hot soup will be available for purchase. All toddys include alcohol, so you must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Game, wine and hikingby Visit Faaborg

Winter is coming! But before then, it's time for fall colors, game stew and good wines. Vinbanken and Trente Mølle invite you to a real autumn event on 15/10 from 3pm to 6pm. We start with a walk in the forest at Trente Mølle, where the nature guide tells us about autumn in nature, which is put in the bank until next spring and closes down for the winter. Back by the fire at Trente Mølle, we prepare together a delicious meal with seasonal ingredients and game. Autumn food belongs to red wine. That's why Vinbanken Faaborg comes by with three tastings of wines that match the menu. Finally, there is an opportunity to make a good deal and buy the introduced wines home with you.

Island Hop in Hiking Shoesby Avernakø Landhotel

Experience two islands in one trip through the South Funen Archipelago – Avernakø and Lyø.\ We take care of everything, from ferry tickets and luggage transport to accommodation and meals. Here’s your chance to explore a part of a UNESCO Global Geopark. - Programme Day 1: The journey starts in Faaborg at 9:45 AM. The island ferry departs from Kanalvej 13 at 10:00. First stop is Lyø, with arrival at 10:40. When boarding the ferry, you’ll find a clearly marked luggage cage – place your bags there and the ferry staff will ensure safe delivery to Avernakø, where we’ll bring it to the hotel.\ On Lyø, you’ll have 4 hours to explore the beautiful island. There’s a café next to the church, or you can bring your own lunch. \ The ferry departs from Lyø to Avernakø at 14:40. From Avernakø Harbour, it’s a 1.5 km walk to the hotel, where your luggage and room will be ready. At 16:00, we welcome you with coffee and cake. After dinner, you may feel like a walk – or let Avernakø’s stunning nature wait until day two. Day 2 Prepare a packed lunch during breakfast – there are many perfect picnic spots along the way, such as the lunch hut on Skallevejen. Bonfire, NADA and Full Moonby Visit Faaborg

Come and experience the full moon by the fire in Findstrup Dal, where Hanne Pedersen from Naturkompasset offers NADA ear acupuncture. We gather around the campfire, where I serve a cup of NADA detox tea, which, along with the acupuncture, aims to provide calm. NADA is a recognized balance-creating acupuncture that the Chinese have been using for more than 1000 years. NADA is standardized methodology and aims to complement treatment in recovery, stress, addiction, and mental health conditions. Bring warm clothes and a blanket, there are benches with reindeer skins and the possibility to lie on your own blanket or sleeping mat. Please also bring a headlamp. Together we explore darkness, through our senses, and welcome it, as part of the cycle of year and life. The winter months associate many with gloom and fear, as we can feel vulnerable in the dark. Darkness invites contemplation and a slowness. Through the exercise, participants are invited to stay in the dark, and from a safe place, to go to observe and experience the darkness through the senses. Did you know that darkness is a prerequisite for the body to form the sleep hormone melatonin, which protects us from depression? We want to make it easy and convenient for our guests to experience Avernakø and that's why we offer this tour where you can quickly and easily book a bike ride on Avernakø. We make sure you have bicycles ready at Avernakø Harbour, book your ferry tickets for you and make sure you are covered for a delicious lunch at Avernakø Landhotel. On Avernakø you can easily get around with a rental bike, so that you can get to see the May trees, drive around Skallevej, see Avernakø church, Drejet, Korshavn Bridge and the amazing view from Revkrogen. Lunch of course takes place at Avernakø Landhotel, where we have outdoor dining in our beautiful garden when the weather permits. We have classic Danish lunch dishes and cold beer/water in the fridge. UNESCO Global Geopark The South Funen Island Sea is a geological gem and was shaped during the last ice age when huge glaciers retreated as temperatures rose. Avernakø is about 8 km long and has just under 20 km of coastline, which can be the setting for some very beautiful nature experiences. The elongated shape of the island means that you have sea views almost wherever you go. It's easy to stop and enjoy one of the many great beaches. The bird life is diverse on Avernakø. Avernakø is home to Europe's largest concentration of bell frogs, and in order to provide them with the best possible conditions, former watering holes have been re-established. It provides good conditions for bird life.

Tag med på 2 dages Ø-hop til "de hemmelige øer" Besøg de to perler i det skønne sydfynske ø-hav. \ De charmerende små-øer er perfekte til dagsture. Begge øer er bilfri, så her er kan børn og voksne løbe frit omkring og nyde ø-livets fred og de smukke kyster, og strande.\ Naturen på begge øer er meget varieret, og køerne bidrager til naturpleje med afgræsning af områder. Både Svelmø og Bjørnø ligger tæt på Faaborg og er nemt tilgængelige med hhv. traktor og færge. På to dage får I oplevet begge øer og overnatter i den smukke købstad på Faaborg Vandrehjem Hotel lige ved Faaborg Museum. \ Program for dagene:\ \ Dag 1\ 16:00 \ Turen starter kl. 16 fra Østergyden 47, 5600 Faaborg (gratis parkering). Herfra bliver I fragtet på traktor gennem vandet til Svelmø. Inden en gåtur (2½ km) får I fortalt om øens historie. På den guidede rundtur kan du få udpeget af 20 danske øer fra udsigtspunktet og du får også en introduktion til øens vilde urter. **Weekend island stay at Avernakø in the South Funen Archipelago Go on this weekend island stay alone or with your very best yarn friends. In addition to plant dyeing and hiking, the stay will focus on coziness, community and the common interest in the yarn. Bring your knitwear and get all the way down into gear. Avernakø Landhotel a place with a homely atmosphere, lots of coziness and good homemade food. In addition, we have a park-like garden, restaurant and farm shop. - The weekend stay starts in Faaborg where plant colors and field facilitator Henriette Grube will welcome you at 9:45 a.m. at Faaborg Harbor by the Ø-Færgen. On the ferry trip, she will share their knowledge of our corner of the South Funen Archipelago. On the crossing there will be cake as well as coffee and tea. Day 1 will feature plant coloring, hiking, delicious food and plenty of time for coziness and relaxation. Day 2 will include breakfast, plant coloring, lunch, afternoon coffee and joint ferry ride back to Faaborg. We thank you for a fantastic weekend in Faaborg at 15.50. - Plant Colouring We carry out all processes in plant coloring with 2 different plants/colors. Step 1: Pickling that enables the yarn's ability to take on color. Step 2: The dye bath itself, where water, plants and yarn are heated and staining occurs. Step 3: Fixing colors in vinegar water. Plant coloring is cozy and slow, so there is plenty of time for relaxation and for the knitwear along the way. It is possible to bring your own yarn for dyeing. It must be wool, mohair or angora — however max 500 g. There will also be an opportunity to buy Hand-spun yarn at Avernakø Landhotel, which can be used for plant dyeing. - Hiking Discover one of the beautiful wonders of the archipelago on foot. In addition to the walk from the ferry to Avernakø Landhotel, after lunch on day 1, there will be a wonderful hike around the island. The hike will be a guided tour with small pleasant stories about nature, the area and the history of Avernakø. The trip will be about 7-8 km. long. If you have difficulty walking, you can shorten the trip.

In the small hotel there is peace, tranquility and coziness, here no scared dogs! We organize New Year's Eve for guests with dogs who do not want a party and fireworks, but rather a cozy New Year's stay with a happy and relaxed dog. Sikkerheden er i top, og alle passagerer bærer redningsveste. Hvis vejret ikke tillader sejlads, aflyses turen uden omkostninger for dig. Veterantoget Faaborg-Korinth t/rby Syd Fyenske Veteranjernbane

Tag en tur med den Syd Fyenske Veteranjernbane og oplev, hvordan det var at rejse med tog i 1950’erne. Turen fra Faaborg til Korinth tager en halv time, og 60 minutters ophold returnerer veterantoget. Toget rumler gennem smukke fynske landskaber og passerer både skove og marker, og med flere gode kig ud over øhavet. Ved Korinth station kan du blandt andet læse mere om jernbanen mellem Faaborg og Ringe, og her er en drejeskive, som nogle gange bruges til at vende lokomotiver og vogne. Desuden er der spisepladser såvel ude som inde, lille kiosk med is, kaffe m.m., legeplads og motionsredskaber. The shores of Lyø and Avernakø are rarely busy, guaranteeing you can enjoy your fishing in solitude – often with entire stretches of coastline to yourself. This trip is tailored for those who want to immerse themselves in fishing at their own pace while soaking up the tranquil atmosphere of these beautiful islands. With our many years of experience, we ensure that every detail – from meal times to practical needs – is adjusted to your preferences, so your fishing experience is as seamless as possible. With a limited number of participants on this trip, you’ll have the perfect setting to fully focus on your fishing. Itinerary Day 1: The trip begins with check-in at Lundsgaard Bed & Breakfast between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, or by arrangement. The location is close to the coast, allowing you to cast your line into the water from the very first day. Since Lundsgaard does not have a restaurant, we recommend visiting one of the excellent dining options in Faaborg, just 5 km away. Day 2: The day begins with breakfast at Lundsgaard, followed by the ferry departure from Kanalvej 13, Faaborg. Departure times are at 5:50 AM or 8:00 AM on weekdays and 8:00 AM on all other days. You will receive your ferry ticket in advance via email, which can simply be scanned by the ferry staff. The ferry trip to Lyø takes approximately 40 minutes. Your packed lunch and coffee will arrive with the ferry at 9:10 AM and can be found in a marked cooler box at Lyø Harbor. After spending a few hours fishing along Lyø's peaceful shores – where there are rarely other anglers – you will take the ferry to Avernakø, departing from Lyø Harbor at 2:45 PM and arriving at Avernakø at 3:10 PM. Upon arrival at Avernakø Landhotel, we will welcome you with coffee and cake, followed by check-in at the hotel. Dinner will be served according to your preferences, allowing you to plan your fishing day without interruptions. In the evening, you can explore Avernakø's beautiful coasts and prepare for the next day of fishing. We also offer facilities and space for social activities, such as tying a fly or two (please bring your fly-tying tools and materials). Day 3 is entirely yours – with a packed lunch in your bag, you can explore the island’s coasts at your own pace. Avernakø offers numerous fishing spots where you can find peace and enjoy stretches of shoreline all to yourself. Check-out from your room is at 11:00 AM, but we offer storage for your luggage and any catch until later in the day. Of course, assistance is available throughout the day. We will embrace the Danish winter atmosphere with all that it offers. * - Day 1 10:00am: The island ferry departs from Kanalvej 13, Faaborg. Ferry tickets are sent to you in advance. On the ferry you can buy coffee, hot cocoa and soft drinks, which are enjoyed with the beautiful view of the South Funen Archipelago. 11:20am: Arrival at Avernakø harbour. From here, the walk takes a beautiful route (1.3 km) up to the hotel. 12:15pm: Lunchtime! Enjoy a delicious lunch with free choice between Star Shot and Pariserbauf. Our most popular dishes. There is, of course, a vegetarian/vegan alternative. 1:00pm: We invite on a guided winter walk where together we walk “Skallevejen around,” a popular 4.3 km walk with tales of the island's nature, culture and history. Then you can choose to explore the island on your own — on foot, by bike (can be rented) or in your own car. We recommend a trip over “Drejet” or around Hovedsjön, and you will be given a map of the island. After dark we have fun indoors with board games, mulled wine & apple slices or coffee & cake. 6:30: Dinner is served as the dish of the day in platter serving. The menu varies, but Danish food made from scratch with love is always offered. There are, of course, both vegan and vegetarian alternatives. Day 2 7:00 AM TO 9:00 AM: Breakfast buffet with a selection of homemade treats, coffee, tea and other goodies. 9.30: For those interested, we offer a walk around to greet the Landhotell animals and watch them being fed. Meet our rabbits, goats, sheep, chickens, guinea pigs, and budgies. 10.00-12.00: The morning offers “free play,” where you can enjoy whatever you want most. We will of course do our best to accommodate your wishes. Perhaps you need to explore parts of Avernakø, such as The Church or the Bird Tower on Oddevej? 12:00pm: Breakfast is served. Then you can continue with pleasant activities. Island Trip with Grandchildrenby Avernakø Landhotel

*Island trip with room for presence, creativity and fun in nature on Avernakø in the South Funen Sea. We take care of everything, from the company from Faaborg to accommodation and food and activities. With this tour we want to create a safe experience, both fun and with a focus on the safety and health of children. * An additional overnight stay with dinner and breakfast can be purchased. - The Program Day 1 *9:45am: * We meet at Kanalvej 13, Faaborg where the ferry is waiting for us. On the ferry we serve buns with cold or hot cocoa and we can tell a lot about the South Funen Island Sea. Maybe we'll even spot a guinea pig! There is also free access to a locker filled with children's books, toys and drawing supplies so that children can enjoy themselves throughout the trip. When you board the ferry you will find a clearly marked “cage” where you can put your luggage so that you do not have to drag it into the salon. *11:10am: * Upon arrival at Avernakø, we will drive your luggage to the hotel so you can enjoy a relaxing stroll up to the hotel without carrying anything. After the entrance, there is a child-friendly lunch with several dishes. Throughout the stay there is free access to fruit, vegetables and buttered buns for the little hungry, as well as coffee and tea for the adults. In the afternoon, depending on the weather, we can go on a beach trip with exciting equipment for play and discovery, or enjoy ourselves by the bonfire in the fire hut with popcorn and the company of animals. *5:30, *: For dinner, you can build your own delicious burgers and enjoy pancakes with ice cream for dessert. 6:30: We say goodnight to all the animals and learn about their evening routines. - Day 2 7:00 A.M. TO 8:00 AM: Enjoy a delicious breakfast with a large and kid-friendly selection of homemade delights. 9:15am: Join us for an exciting animal watching tour where Majbritt talks about the animals and anyone can help feed them. Meet rabbits, goats, sheep, guinea pigs, budgies and a musk duck. 11.30: We serve a delicious lunch, after which you are free to choose what you want to make of pleasant activities. 2:30 PM: We walk together to the ferry while the luggage is taken to the ferry for us, so that you can enjoy the last part of the trip in peace. - Dogs are warmly welcome with us, but must be stated at the time of ordering. There is an option to book an extra night if one wishes to extend one's stay. The extra accommodation includes dinner and breakfast. It costs 700, - for adults and 400, - for children.
