Pipstorn — between mounds and trees

On this tour you will experience Pipstorn's beautiful nature, exciting history and special cultural heritage.

Together with the nature guide, we move through the forest, where past and present meet between the trees. Along the way, we will tell you about the animal and plant life we encounter on the trip and about the impressive ancient monuments that bear witness to human activity throughout ancient times. You will gain insight into life in ancient times, burial customs and the people who once lived in the area.

The tour gives you the opportunity to experience both the tranquility of the forest and to be fascinated by the stories that hide in the landscape. Pipstorn is a place where nature and cultural history go hand in hand, and where every step brings us closer to the story of South Funen's past.

Venue: The parking lot at Lucienhøj 14v, 5600 Faaborg.

Bring clothing and footwear according to the weather.

The route is about 3 km long, but takes place on the trails in the forest, so if you are in a wheelchair and used to driving in nature, it can be done, although there are some places where it can be difficult.
