Afternoon walk in Svanninge Bakkerby Visit Faaborg
Odensevej 175, 5600 Faaborg
At the heart of Geopark The South Funen Archipelago lies the Svanninge Bakker, a landscape shaped by the last ice age with hills and valleys, forests and open plains. The tour moves around through this amazing landscape, down through the hills to the village of Svanninge. Here we look at, among other things, an old burial mound and beautiful old houses and farms, before walking past the church back up through the hills.
Guide on the tour is Anne Kolath Jensen, local Nature Supervisor in the company Tur i Natur — Anne. Anne, who was born and raised in Svanninge, will along the way tell about the development of the area from the ice age until the very unique place it is today.
