Henrik Jessen Toft — one of the authors of “The Syrenbogen” — takes you on a walk along lilac fences and in nature close to Svanninge Bakker. On the tour, Henrik will tell about the cultural history of the lilacs on South Funen, about lilacs in general and lilac fences in particular.
On the tour you will also have the opportunity to hear about large gold finds made at the beginning of the last century and how life was lived in an overcrowded area in the 19th century. Beautiful scenery, views of Arreskov lake and good company complete a good and rewarding walk.
The tour ends with coffee and lilac cake in the garden “Ellebjerg”.
